Can I seed completed episodes from an uncompleted series if I am warned?

I think the title says it all?

I am trying to seed episodes that I have downloaded but I don't have the whole series. Should I be able to seed these files even though I am warned or can I only seed completed series while warned?

I did surf through the wiki if someone else can direct me to the answer, I cannot locate it.

As far as I know, the tracker has no way of distinguishing partial seeders from leechers, so no.

Ok and this applies even if I set the uncompleted files to 'skip' or 'don't download' in utorrent, and only try to seed the completed files?  (Makes it a bit trickier to maintain ratio if you just want to sample TV shows but I am definitely not complaining because I have taken more than I have received. And besides this is a great site/community).

That's not true. You cannot seed incomplete torrents while being warned due to the torrent protocol limitations.

Thanks, that is what I thought based upon the fact that none of these particular torrents seem to be seeding. I guess the tracker status = you have been warned for these torrents (in utorrent) should have clued me in but I just wanted to be sure.

A user has only 2 states in a swarm. Leeching or seeding. Seeding state happens only when the user has 100% of the torrent.
