Easiest Ways To Increase Ratio?

I've read the Wiki, but users tend to have a better or easier to understand answer.

Basically, I've downloaded quite a bit of content, hit just over 25GB (was below 25 before I tried getting bonus torrents), and am trying to seed back.

It's going a lot slower than expected, as maybe every 20 minutes for about half a minute one of the files I'm seeding uploads at between 0.5 kb/s and 30kb/s, which is obviously almost nothing, even if the files were freeleeched.

Is there any easy or better way to increase the ratio quickly? I'm not willing to pay a ridiculous amount for a seedbox, and I'd gladly donate to the site directly, if the donation period lasted longer than 2 days e_e

I've been trying to get bonus torrents, but I noticed that those quickly lose their bonus status within an hour or two after downloading.

I love the incredibly quick download speeds, but there's so much I want and keeping uploads with the ratio is impossible. I understand why this is but it's a bit frustrating.

So I come to you users in the forums to ask for help on the topic, through tips or personal habits. Please teach this fool how to get better upload. Your help is super appreciated! :3

Another quick question though, I seem to be getting bonus points without even realizing it? I'm almost at 200 and I know for a fact that none of the torrents I had at the time were bonuses, and that is a lot of points at a time. What is this about?

Do you have fast connection? Well, as for my experience, don't underestimate bonus torrents because they are my salvation that if you have slow connection like me. Back then, I manage to get hold of bonus torrents and the numbers increased. If you have fast connection (My DL speed is 1Mbps and 500kbps average, pretty patient of me  ) just seed and seed. If you are willing to donate, that would be the best. But it will take some time to do so. I suggest you enable the message once the donations are open.

A combination of bonus torrents and donation helped me. Well these was based in my experience.

1. download some freeleech torrents

2. download a torrent from a release groups website that also happens to be on BBT, before coming back here and downloading the torrent file, and pointing it towards the same download location.

3. Be patient.

Also, seed lots of torrents. I'm currently seeding 81 BBT torrents and have no problems whatsoever to max out my upstream, which is about 10Mbps.

If you wanted to donate anyway, why wouldn't you just take the donation money you would have used and purchase seedbox service for one month? They really aren't as expensive as you seem to think.

As noted above, if you don't want to use a seedbox, the only real answer is to seed lots of torrents, for as long as possible.  For example, I'm out of state right now so my main PC is off, but I'm currently force-seeding roughly 170 torrents on that system, out of which 10-20 will be active at any given time, easily maxing my set upload cap (~80% of total capacity). 

In other words, depending on the popularity of the torrents you've chosen (I never pick 'em for anything but my own interest), you can expect anywhere from 5-20% of your torrents to be active at the same time.

Bonus torrents can be a small help, but counting on them is probably a mistake.  The same with donations.  Neither was ever really intended to be a true replacement for seeding.  It's just a numbers game, and requires patience.

A speedtest to the nearest server shows a speed of 14mb/s download and 2mb/s upload. I'm not being throttled either as far as I could find.

How do I find out what group released a file the same as one on BBT?

I am seeding about 20 right now but I'll find some more to freeleech o-o

I looked around a bit for some seedboxes but the only good ones I've found are $30 upwards monthly. $10 for a 200mb/s connection is good but when the storage is only 20GB? No thanks. If you guys know of any really good valued ones I'll be happy to hear it.

I have 3 through them and I am incredibly happy with them.
for example, one of my slots enjoys 300/300 with a cap of  3.5TB upload (which you can boost for $3) with 500GB storage and costs me $30 a month

im with seed.st so far so good $10month with 225gb it a shared box(100mb unlimited) but that doesn't matter gotten 10mb down 2ish up if u can get to it the bleach manga go bonus atm cause the seeder has got on yet as far as i can tell u could get few points from that maybe

am having some kind of problem still I don't know what to do even after reading the wiki -____-
I signed up yesterday cause I wanted to download super robot war OG the inspector
anyway I downloaded about 2.35 GB without uploading,,"I didn't close the upload or something but the anime isn't that popular"
I closed my lab to sleep and when am back from my work today I tried to resume the download but the file stopped due to the ratio issue,,
after reading the wiki I learned about the freeleach torrents but I can't download them either,,
what should I do ,, it is not good to block someone who starts downloading only 2.35 from 6.9 and nobody was downloading the file with him to upload anything,,
am sorry if I missed something I should have known cause am new here ..
anyone's help will be appreciated,, thx in advance

Why not start your own thread? Anyway, you've only DL 2.35 GB and is not warned, so the problem can't have anything  to do with your ratio... Restart PC. Check firewalling, etc.

no need to open a whole new thread for this kind of problem .. am sure it is a ratio issue 
anyway I've tried what u suggest before and after but nothing changed,, thanx for the advice

Sorry, but no, you don't understand at all.  You CAN'T get warned until you've downloaded at least 25 GB, and you haven't. Ergo, it's not a ratio issue.
