I find patience solves better than any kind of "trick" to enhance your ratio. one month of torrenting is about 100gb for me. and that is not constant leech. selected torrents that run normally until they have a ratio of at least 1.5 - 2. that where the patience comes in.
The easiest way to increase your share ratio is to forget that you are uploading.
I let torrent run in the back as long as my system is running. Well not when gaming but the rest of the time it runs and the ratio goes up as others get the files you've already enjoyed. Though if you donate you not only help your ratio but this community which I think is a better reason to donate than for ratio reasons.
