Can someone help me figure out what I am doing wrong with relocating the files?
Recently my D-Drive was too full so I had to relocate all the files. So I thought why not organize the files into separate folders and categories while relocating them?
I tried to re-locate the files and Force Re-check but the check bar is not rising at all.
BTW, I use a utorrent 3.3

This is what I did. (example)
1. "Laputa Castle in the Sky" was located here "D:\Downloads"
2.  I moved this file into location "E:\Movies"
3.  I stopped the torrent, went to 'files' tab on bottom, right click on file, click 'relocate'.
4.  I chose "E:\Movies" and click 'save'
5.  right click on torrent and click 'Force Re-check'

I waited for 30mins but there was no change. (0.0%)

So, I tried another method.
1. Delete all previous torrents. ( the actual file is still there)
2. Re download the same torrent file from BakaBt.
3. Open the the same torrent, but do not start the torrent.
4. Made sure the download location is the same place where the actual file is "E:\Movies"
5. activate torrent ( download not-enabled), relocate files and do Force Re-check.

Waited about an hour, but the check bar is still 0.0%

Is there a problem with the method I did? I think I followed exactly what the wiki said.
And I can't find a similar case.
I have a 60Gigs worth of things with a '0.0% check' just sitting in my screen.

Try downgrading your version of uTorrent. It seems Force Recheck function is bugged in v.3.3 :(.

Thanks, haven't thought about that. Will try.
Do you know which versions actually work. 3.2?

I'd go all the way down to 1.8.5 but it's your call. I would assume that 3.2 is fine but no guarantees. All versions starting with 2 should be fine too.

I downgraded to 3.2 and it is working fine now.
A bit of trivial work but at least it works.
Thanks for the idea.
