Tonari no Seki-kun
AniDB | Official

Release: ??.01.2014
Description: The original manga revolves around a girl named Yokoi who sits next to a boy only known as “Seki-kun.” During class, Seki-kun continues to not pay attention and instead creates amazingly throrough little distractions, such as a detailed golf course with the course's hole being a dent in his desk, or an entire dramatic war being played out by paper shogi pieces.

I remember those days ... I wonder what happened to all my desks at school.

I love looking through BBT forums for hints on new Anime!

This cover made me laugh! Yokoi is trying so hard to NOT look! lolz!

Seems like there's tons of potential, will read the manga at Batoto...

Oh: Is there a reason it jumps from Vol.2 Ch.23 straight to Vol.3 Ch.29??

First episode is out and it seems to be one of the winners this season.

It's about 7 minutes short and each episode will most likely continue to revolve around one of his shenanigans. Either way this stuff brings me back to my days in school where I did something similar, although not in such grand scale. Definitely worth watching.
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

Great short series, I found it fun. Will watch it. It's basically a shenanigans, shenanigans everywhere show.

Still, wish the budget would be better. Definitely not something you'd marathon. Keeping it at 7 minutes a week should be preferable. Any more than that and chances are you'd just get burned out of the premise.

I agree. It's perfect for lighting your mood in the morning while you eat breakfast before going to work. Not a marathon type of series.
