How do I hide the subtitle file?

(1/2) > >>

josen:
Hi,I would like to ask a few question.

1.How do I hide the subtitle file and still appear in the player?
(Just like any new anime which automatically put in the subtitle for you)

2.How do I check who sub the anime?

Thanks in advance.

Tennouji:
If you mean about the media file not having a separate external subtitle file but still show a softsub, it is "muxed" with the media file.

Nowadays, mkv containers are commonly used as media containers.

mkvtoolnix should do the job. It also comes with a GUI (MKVMergeGUI) for a front-end interface.

Do you mean who made the file you have?
Answer: usually the group's name or acronym is in the file name.

Do you mean "How do I find which groups subbed this show"?
Answer: Look at anidb.net; you might have to register an account to see all information.

If you downloaded the anime from BakaBT, all the information you need about subtitles should be listed on the torrent description page. If it's not, you can post a comment on it asking about it.
