How do I hide the subtitle file?

No, this file is not from BakaBt.

I am going to upload this anime that is why I am asking on how to determine.

If you are not from a known group that makes nice releases, don't even bother. It will be rejected almost for sure.
Check the wiki, you can find there info about that. Save some work to yourself and don't do it.

If you have an account on AniDB, a client such as AniDB o'matic can check your files and identify them.

We are different from the majority of trackers, so read our Wiki and browse the site carefully to see how we operate.

'Uploading' an anime does not necessarily grant you benefits, so if you are new to computing I suggest you leave it to the others for now.

That depends on what player you're using. I use Media Player Classic so we'll use that.

Navigate -> Subtitle Language -> No subtitles

That'll do what you're looking for.

If it's not labeled then check where you downloaded it. If it's not uploaded already though then it may be either poor quality or on the DO NOT UPLOAD list.
