3rd episode is out, the monkey was kept at minimum and we actually got a some more screentime with Kanetsugu. This was pretty good and restored my faith in this show as we got that great blend of action and comedy from the last season, even if Kanetsugu is still not yet as badass as I would want her to be and this probably on purpose because she has really bad luck.

just watched ep 3, it was much better. i love girls with giant ass hammers, and they're even better if they have that hilarious haughty laugh, so kanetsugu having a fight scene was awesome.

i was also surprised that she actually became a master samurai, i thought she would be one of the last of them.

I loved Kanetsugu arrogance, when she got her powers she had that "Its Payback time bitch" look in her eyes, this was one of the best fights of the series on par with Juubei vs Hanzou vs Matabei from the first season.

Episode 4 got the Ecchi dial up to 11 ... because this is HYAKKA RYOURAN !

Gisen is back and use her made lying skills to make everybody behave like Idiots and this time around doesn't get beat to a pulp for getting his junk sandwiched because He lost his pants. Great episode, and for once Gisen actually does a good deed as weird as it sounds.

Now I want a S&M bondage showdown between Hanzou and Gisen, maybe for the BD

Watched episode 4, was awesome. And for the first time, I really noticed Sasaki Kojirou. She might just be mine fav character design-wise in the whole series. As the kimono animation is soo fucking damn awesome. It's very rare to actually see the beautiful kimono pattern to be perfectly animated so that it appears real, which is usually otherwise just a layer of pattern underneath. Even chihafuru's kimono were not animated that well, and that is a new anime with a hefty budget. I have no idea how much budget this anime has, but it looks damn expensive seeing the awesome artwork they are keeping up.

Now I need to go and draw the awesome kimono, my hands are already itching.

P.S: Did Muneakira really get his junk between gisen's boobie in last season? I don't remember it. Which episode was it (and approximate time >__>)

How come she is a virgin if she is Mushashi girl ... you mean that Gisen is technically a virgin ... I would be more interested in technically keeping her a virgin, if you catch my drift

But yes the world is pretty much fucked up by now, just following the rule even if you were truly virgin would just cause a boatload of abuse.

^Depends on what release you are using. FFF usually use the uncensored broadcast, but if not available they will have to use something else. Horriblesubs always uses the censored broadcast

Seriously, this anime IS REALLLYY UNDER-RATED. Just finished it. And all i have to say is they have done an awesome job with this. Hat's off to the whole crew for this. This was my fav this season (along with gargantia... I can't spell it).

The animation was consistent till the last, and damn soundtrack beautiful. And ending was perfect. I was just wowed the last two episodes.

What do you mean by that? The Dark Samurai who wears a black kimono has long sleeves. And I know enough Japanese culture to know what and where and by whom it is worn.

It had a plot but it was a bit weaker. This season had a much better plot the whole time across almost every episode. So yeah, this season is much better.
