Questions on universities and seeding

Basically I made an account to get a hold of some series/movies that I couldn't find else where before I head back to university tomorrow,
and then realised the whole seeding ratio thing. This is also a community I'd like to be semi involved with, however at university I have monitored internet and can have my internet blocked if they find any of my activities unlawful. Although Bakabt seems pretty careful when it comes to licensing so do you think it would be okay to download/seed from there without the risk of having my internet blocked?
Also, I'm in that awful situation where everything I want is rather over seeded/under downloaded urgh.

Use a seedbox or VPN.

It depends on your Uni's policy.
My campus only acted when letters were sent to them. Whereas others like to close down your privileges upon noticing any p2p activity.

Take a look at your policy and decide if risking it is worth it, if for example you have a 3 strikes policy.

You could look into a VPN service if you plan on doing a lot of torrenting (a must if you download popular western shows), but I found that using a seedbox supplier with it's provided proxy service sufficient.

It is worth noting that anime torrents are under much less risk of being monitored by money grabbing gits, but it's still there.

OR...

Use IRC to download from XDCC bots, majority of fansubbers provide them. This is the safest and cheapest way imo.

I'll check this stuff out, and also try and sort out ratio stuff (which, i imagine shall be a total nightmare but necessary I guess).
I think with my uni it's a case of if they get a complaint they cut the connection straight, my flatmate uses some sort of proxy connection and does it all the time so I'll probably talk to him about it as well.
EDIT: Going to finish my download and just keep it seeding and hope something starts uploading at somepoint
