Description : Outbreak Company's story centers around Shinichi Kano, a "thoroughbred class" otaku with a light novelist father and an erotic game artist mother. He has no special talents except for his vast knowledge, opinions, and insight on moe.

Despite this, the Japanese government assigns Shinichi as a "moe" evangelist to the Holy Eldant Empire, a parallel world with an entrance through a thick forest of trees in the Mount Fuji area. In this fantasy world where dragons soar the skies, Shinichi forms a deep friendship with the half-elf maid girl Myuseru and the beautiful young empress Petoraru. Even as he deals with the threats of war between different factions, he worries that he himself is an invader (shinryakusha) to this wondrous land.

Description II: The story revolves around a throughbred otaku named Kanou Shinichi; with a light novelist for a father and an eroge illustrator for a mother. One day he finds himself transported to a fantasy world filled with elves and dragons. In an effort to enhance the cultural exchange between his world and this new one, Shinichi was given the task of spreading his knowledge of “moe” to the Holy Eldant Empire. Its also there where he meets a half-elf maid named Myuseru and a young empress named Petoraru.

Promo + information. Once again, anime is taking a new direction in colors ... And that video proves it all. Really happy and hope other studios implement these features in their upcoming works.

Seems like a more realistic Zero no Tsukaima. Surprisingly, I think this will be one of my favourites of this season, just because of the atmosphere. I love anime where characters have to cope with living in other worlds.

I enjoyed the first episode.

It didn't cross that line between being a winsome indulgence and a grating, predictable, intelligence-insulting experience like Infinite Stratos did.... and is. The main character is likeable and, while unremarkable perhaps, avoids the pitfalls of the protagonists in similar works. The story apparently gets more weight later on when they start dealing more thoughtfully with the social and cultural issues underlying the world.

Considering it's an anime at least partly about moe and otaku culture, I was expecting a lot worse.

Woah, this seems like it's living up to my expectations. Although the preview of the next episode kind of just spoiled everything, but it's fine.

There is just so much good anime this season, I'm loving it.

I like how this show actually addresses social classes and discrimination. It's exceeding what I expected from it right now and it could become one of the hidden gems of this season.

Otherwise it's mostly fun! The females are delightful while the males are (mostly) dreadfully dull... and NOT "on purpose" (which ~~would~~ might have made it acceptable).

Note: Jesus never once ate popcorn in his entire life. It's a fact!

Hopi & Navajo Indians had popcorn (among others) in 35 AD, not Nazarene Jews...

Popcorn didn't invade European Culture until after 1600 or so... (see how I looped back to the topic at hand? Genius, eh?)
