I'd say to also download torrents like Bakemonogatari which are free seeds in order to boost your upload for free over time.

Don't double-post.  Edit your old post if it is the last one in the thread.

Quite a number of the torrents @BBT are easily found at other torrenting sites.  Google Tokyo Toshokan or Nyaa torrents for two of them.

Now, locate a few torrents of interest here @BBT.  Look at the exact details, such as [group], encode resolution, TV or BD source, filesize and filenames.  It should take very little effort to determine which torrents are an exact match for the ones here at baka.  Download from the other trackers, then reseed here under your profile.  Viola!  Instant freeleech for a wide selection in all resolutions.

Pay attention to the [group] accepted here @BBT and visit their websites.  You can find more links &/or IRC etc. download options for more possibilities that don't appear on the other trackers.  Notice on the front page of the Wiki there is a link for How to seed files I already have.

Please don't ask how to reseed in this thread until you've spent some time searching and reading in this forum for how to reseed ... it's a question that has been asked & answered numerous times.  We'll need to know your client & config if you run into specific trouble with that.

Most of us seed anywhere from 50 to 150 torrents simultaneously to saturate our upload bandwidth.  Personally, I find that for my U/L bandwidth of ~ 5 Mbit/s, about 80 torrents usually saturates, and I run quite a few that are a bit more exotic and don't get a lot of D/L activity.  I average about a terabyte per month, with my client open basically 24/7.

A large torrent, such as Inuyasha can help you out a lot.  First, that one is quite popular.  Second, people downloading stay connected longer, so you get a good opportunity to get action off the downloaders.  Then, run the ratio up on well-performing torrents, like 5:1 or 10 in this example.  It will pull your statistics heavily toward it due to its size, giving you lots of leeway with smaller torrents that don't produce so well.  NANA is a great anime, and produces steady upload due to it's popularity.  The soundtrack collection for NANA also does unusually well for an OST (usually OSTs don't do very well, but this one is outstanding and popular, if you like music).  Cowboy Bebop is another good example, both anime series and OST collection.

Learn to read the statistics boxes in the offers.  That info is there for a good reason: to help you figure out which torrents are popular, among other things.

Generally, pick anime that you like.  You'll want to share those and feel good about seeding ... thus, motivation to seed longer.
