i wouldnt watch gantz again if it continued... it was way tooo SLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it reminds me of dbz powering up taking 3 episodes to charge an attack.

Yeah the anime was slow, but the manga was a lot faster.  Supposedly they had to slow down each episode to let the manga get further ahead, then when they couldn't slow donw any more they made shit up and gave it a crappy ending.  As for another series that should be continued: Berserk, Hajime no Ippo and Gantz as well.

Trinity Blood (and yes I do know the creator is dead).  It still deserved more.  I was so dissapointed at the end since it really didn't answer any questions or sum it all up.

Bubblegum Crisis OAV (bubblegum crash is the sequel, but it leaves things unanswered!)...

Must know of Sylia is really a super boomer, need to know if Nene gets a boyfriend...
Most importantly...  Does Leon ever get Priss to go out with him?!?

-.-

Xenosaga
Bastard!
Devil May Cry

I would agree with a sequel to GTO, but can't really see it.

Hajime No Ippo,

Loved it from start to finish. great realistic characters, great story. exciting, emotion, turmoil. i was teary eyed for many an episode. other times riveted on the fierce boxing matches. also the mixing of Ippo's relationship with Mashiba's sister and the revelation of  Mashibas softer side was an well engineered romantic like subplot. so was the turmoil and struggle for Ippo to balance helping his mom with the family business and Boxing.  The antics of Ippo's friends were hilarious.  Also Ippo's respect for his opponent's and his friends, and opponents, especially his opponents all on his road to the featherweight championship make him one of the most admirable Anime characters ever. The opening and closing music really worked well with the theme of the anime. normally i skip the song but i liked the opening songs so much i watched every one for every episode.  i would consider this a classic among classics ;D

In fact for those who would like to see a second series  visit this site http://www.petitiononline.com/HNITWO/

so far 9509 Total Signatures supporting a second season. according to this site anyway

Twelve Kingdoms definately
Claymore
Ah! My Goddess (a third series would be awesome, I can't get enough of it)
Hataraki Man

I wouldn't want to see sequels to stuff like Blood+ or BECK because while there sorta is room to continue the story it would feel too forced. I think they ended just fine and really should just be left where they are. The ones I mentioned though are either unfinished, left way way way too much unanswered, or were in general not very well suited to a real conclusion because of the nature of the show.

Kaze no Stigma. The main character is such a badass, and moreover, the bad guy didn't get beaten at all. What kind of an ending is that?

I'd like for that to get dubbed some day.

I'd like to see a sequel to Elfen Lied, although I've probably already posted that in this thread somewhere. There's still a lot that was left unresolved.

I noticed a lot of people said Hikaru No Go. How much of this is really left unanimated? I don't recall. I read the entire manga series and watched all 75 episodes, but I thought they covered pretty much everything in the anime.

Fruits Basket definitely. They stopped way too early in that.

I would also like to see the Enishi arc animated in Rurouni Kenshin.

Tsubasa Chronicle 3rd season would be cool too.

And more Tales of Symphonia anime. The 4 episode OVA just didn't cut it. Needs at least a 12 episode series ;p

And I agree with llsektorll about a Kanon sequel. That would be sexy.
