We let the cat out last night, he came in tonight with both frontal paws injured. Left paw has light blood on it but he can't walk on it. Right paw is damaged from the front and to his thumb with a lot of blood seemed to be gushed out. His head seemed to be scratched, very minor (you have to close your face in to see it) and it seems like he was scratched from one of the sides. So right now I did my best to clean most of the blood. We put him in the bathroom for the night and after work tomorrow I'm going to take him to some pet animal. The cat is fine and he's a bit depressed and seems energitic when we were cleaning him. What other steps should I take for the night? And what will the costs be to fix him up and clean up the rest of the blood on his paws? (they're hard to come out, dry blood).

Clean your dog's wounds with warm water, make sure they are clean and possibly bandage them if you can do it properly. If the wounds seem serious or your afraid of infections/diseases take the dog to the vet for testing and possible proper medical treatment.


Also stop letting that damn dog out for so long..... >_>
