Anyone ever actually beaten the Chocobo Racing game in FF10?

I always thought that game was really easy. It always confused me when people talked about how hard it was..

The game, overall, is fairly easy.

As long as you don't count the side missions.

I meant the chocobo racing was easy. Maybe they toned it down in the PAL edition? I never had any problems with it.

If that was true then he wouldn't be finding it hard now as its the international version that got released.

I never managed the 200 lightning strikes though. Will try again once I have the airship.

I've done that a couple of times, usually it involves short manga from BBT that I downloaded and then forgot to read. It still puzzles me how I can see a torrent description and go "Oh hey this plot seems pretty cool, I should download it." without remembering I did the same thing a week ago.

It could be exploited:
Doctor dies, nurse is assigned.
Doctor is revived.
From now on, every other round, the doctor and the nurse protect themselves or each other, making them invincible.

Edit: Whoops, they only seem to protect against werewolves and demons. Never mind.
