Bob, sounds like the battery leaked. That rusty patch on the ground is what tells me it exploded. What kind of battery was it? If you wipe the residue off the laptop and replace the battery, it might be fine.

This is the thing. The stain was on the floor in front of the desk, somewhat to the right of the laptop. But the laptop was near the back of the desk, and the battery is on the bottom. There weren't any stains other than the one on the floor and the marks around the connector (which look almost like rust to me). And the battery pack itself (a normal lithium ion laptop battery) appears completely undamaged, at least on the outside. So the stain must be something else, although I can't offer any other explanation.

Table was mostly finished (in the rain)
Painting it was a bitch!
Anyway, now I just gotta put my keyboard tray in and create some DVD shelving, but for now, It's all good.

Finished watching FMP season 1 and Fumoffu. Fumoffu was not bad at all. Might even watch Second Raid next month.

It was fairly funny which is more than I can say for s1 which I found very melodramatic (also that guy kept coming back to life without any explanation, wtf?)

it had its moments. But yeah, it was boring, the jokes were funny most of the time, but it was boring.

I was under the assumption that you generally don't watch much of anime :/
