I wish I had notes of what the teacher said but he has a habit of taking control of our computers when he teaches and he won't write note himself either.

Hell, I do the same thing for all programming languages, and test small code pieces, etc.

Yeah but you know how it is. Generally, if you want to have the best grade, you have to do it the way the teacher want's it. Anyway, he did leave us plenty of examples (albeit without explanations of what they do) so I can just copy his style.

I said to the teacher that I was gonna write a minesweeper on PHP as my final project (which is the most complicated project and I'm also the only one who decided to work alone). I understand the logic of the game well enough that it took me just 90 minutes to write all model classes in Java (everything but the user's interface) so I figured it wouldn't be so hard to do the same in PHP.

Question:Did I just shoot myself in the foot with a shotgun?
