Building a MAL is a nightmare for someone who has seen so much anime.

I've also encountered several people with strong personalities - aka, bossy/retarded personalities - while viewing random MAL members. I shall figure out how to post a link of my MAL on my signature.

One good reason to have a proper list is ... I have a lot of anime to catch up on. BUT WHO CARES! I just forget about them all the time.

Library, you mean? I already have that. My anime is organized well. The problem is keeping track of what I haven't watched.

I also don't have your normal average-joe's anime ... I don't have 20TB+ for nothing.

I do no use any special tools.  I use the "find" and "grep" linux programs.  After I have watched something, I rename the folder, adding '{+}' to the end of it to let me know that I have watched it.  20+ TB is a lot.  I threw out about 5 TB of old anime that I had recorded on DVDs.

I'd rather store my anime on a hard drive, but I'd choose BD if I were to go to disc :>
