I got challenged by my muslim friends today to go fasting the whole day. It's really really hard. Whenever I see food or water I have to remind myself I can't have that I can't have that I can't have that!! ;~;
You have to train yourself, and of course prepare the week prior if possible. I started fasting regularly when I was 12 (that is, every Jewish public fast day- some are sunrise to sunset fasts and others are sunset to sunset fasts). The killer is definitely water though. Drink a lot of water with electrolytes and take 2 ibuprofen before a fast, and you should be fine for next time. It also helps to get up before the fast starts to eat breakfast (dunno if you're allowed to do that in islam, but it's allowed for most Jewish fasts).
Breakfast. It's actually recommended to have breakfast before the fast starts (before sunrise) in Islam. Even if it's only water.
And usually as long as I have breakfast I can manage the whole day without food. Breakfast is important ~desu.
Well duh. That's obvious, since breakfast is actually meaning 'to break your fast' - on other words, eat something and break your fast.
Then you can start your new fast.
Burnout fun, but ultimately, its an arcade racer. So it sucks.
