Well I'll be dammed (instead of damned)
my mom (instead of mum) says that there is silly, like the color (instead of colour) of my veehickle (instead of vehicle, where the H is fucking silent)

"Dammed" has a totally different meaning.

1. it's damned here, too. I've never seen "dammed" to mean "damned." dammit is commonly with double m, but damnit is just as common.
2. mum/mom--why does that matter?
3. o/ou was changed because some guy named webster or smth thought the u was unnecessary (iirc. don't quote me)
4. that depends on the region. I've never pronounced the h

FUCK IT IS FAR TOO HOT!
I wish it would be winter already....

I'll trade with you, any day..

I really prefer it -18 over +18 everyday, when the temperature is +25C I start sweating even if I just lie down, the only time I don't sweat would be when I'm in water.
Ugh, I hate summer, + all the freaking pollen that makes the air thick and hard to breath.

^my exact thoughts for each of those, Nii-san

Personally I don't have a problem with British English... although I was born in America and most of my English is 'American', I do take some things from British English; for example, I prefer writing 'burnt' rather than 'burned' (probably because it's closer to how I pronounce it IRL) and I say 'take-away' instead of 'take-out'.

I use both burnt and burned. For instance, "burnt toast" and "I burned my toast."

I use blonde rather than blond which I think means I prefer the British spelling of that. For me words like color when spelled as colour sound more like cull-loor rather than cull-ur, essentially like a double o.

Yeah, I do too, now that I think about it.

Being a French learner, I use "blonde" to refer to a female and "blond" to refer to a male.

That's because the actual, original pronunciation of the word iscul-loor. But I don't really care tbh. I was just trying to show my dislike of the same language having multiple 'versions'

Isn't it a bit hard to keep a language the exact same when it is separated? Like, I don't know, when a bunch of people took English to a different continent? People who were fed up with the home country and wanted to be different?

Then we best go back to using Latin, because English is actually originally Latin.

Damn that's a weird language btw...

I'm pretty sure there is as much latin as there is german and french (which I suppose you could include in the latin influence if you stretch).

Oh yeah, so I finished compulsory education today :>

Not really. English is a West Germanic language. English has a pretty even split of Germanic and Romance words, though.

I honestly don't really talk to anyone on Skype except an internet friend I skype almost everyday to play games with and watch streams with and stuff.

Usually with anyone else in any other circumstance, I'll talk to them for a couple minutes, say a couple of sentences, then shyly back away slowly and maybe continue the convo weeks later where I'll rinse and repeat.

Iunno mang. I think I either really need to like someone to hold a conversation with them or know them for a long time so that I know silence isn't awkward silence. Maybe I'll jump on the IRC some more or something. Or if you play Minecraft or Hearthstone we can Skype call or something sometime.

I just have issues, don't worry too much about it  ::)
