Ah, I miss British weather. Believe me, I'd trade you for your hot summer's day in a heartbeat. Yesterday in Cardiff, the temperature apparently peaked at around 23C at the hottest point of the day. Here, the temperature at the coldest point of the night was 25C, and it's forecast to peak at around 34C today. Japanese weather forecast doesn't report the humidity, so I can't say how humid it is... but I think the reason they don't bother reporting it is because it's always so ridiculously high, there's no point even mentioning it
It's still not even as hot as it's apparently going to get later in August! I seriously think I'm going to just melt into a little puddle of sweat before I return to the UK
On the plus side, we have had some pretty astounding thunderstorms. They roll in really quickly, and only last for about half an hour before they pass, but in that half an hour, we get nearly a week's worth of Cardiff rain, and the loudest, brightest, most terrifyingly powerful lightning I have ever seen. I got caught outside in one once, and even in the middle of the city surrounded by tall buildings, walking along with my umbrella was seriously bloody terrifying :|
