Hell, I could build an atomic bomb if I had the materials... Basic bombs are unbelievably easy. You could build really destructive ones just with basic things you can buy at a home improvement store...
There's no point in bombs though. The radicals are too uneducated to realize that. Bigger internal changes need to be made. All blowing people up will do is enrage them which just results in even worse living conditions for the people they care about. I mean just look at what 9/11 lead to... Multiple countries occupied, tons of death and destruction brought to their homeland, their leaders executed. Our influence is stronger in that region now than ever, and all because they didn't have the forethought to consider what would happen if they used such a small minded immediate reward attack like that.
Though I suppose if the goal was to cripple our economy by sending us into a wild goose chase of a war while also killing thousands of their comrades then well I guess you could say it was a success but I think our economy would have taken the same turn regardless with all the bubbles we have. We're living beyond our means. A war put us in debt but it was the way we've been treating our finances for the past several decades that really caused the problems.
I mean, it's so stupid... all the attacks really did is inconvenience them.
Then again, our response was stupid too. If we really wanted to have a war on terror we should have taken the money we spent on our war machine and instead put it to helping them expand their education system so none of their children are left behind and the quality of education in general being raised and helping the countries in general become less poor so the children have better living conditions. That's how you defeat terror... These radicals, they're an idea. You can't kill an idea with a stick. You can only change it by educating future generations and showing them that such violence is unacceptable in a civilized society, and I say that in passing as they'll naturally learn that themselves through education and proper living conditions. That's what the whole damn problem is...
Well, I guess the radical sects are kind of problematic too but the radical Christians were just as bad, if not worse. Education is the only solution other than mass genocide and last I checked the world has never really been all that in favor of mass genocide.

We need to move to geniocracy and we need to work on educating the less fortunate and helping the impoverished nations to succeed. That's the only way we're going to move forward as a species. But hell, I have a problem with the whole government structure of the world to begin with. Ugh. So much stupid shit going on that nobody worthwhile can fix since it's always the idiots that get put in power.
