back to the topic of screwed up nurses, the one at the optician today what was given the job of getting my eyes to dilate supposedly screwed up... and I ended up with one eye dilated before the other... i didn't even know that's possible...

Even I wasn't that horrible as a nurse, and I didn't go through three years of nurse school. Well, there are people that really have crappy veins, but those are usually above 120kg. As for me, since all doctors knew me from childhood, they usually did all the blood taking/putting in flexules themselves.

I am pretty sure I am not even close to 120kg and they still manage to mess everything up.

well, my petition to change it to brother was rejected by the whole staff, which is (except for one part-time surgeon and the 89 year old anesthetist that comes when our regular anesthethis is on holiday) is female. Luckily the uniforms have pants, otherwise it would've been really awkward to go into the clinic every morning...

The regular anesthetist is a women over 50 and her holidays are fasting trips to the baltic ocean around Lübeck. The replacement is senile, and is essentially practicing wartime medicine. Although it's interesting to hear how he learned medicine and he is competent, his way of doing things is more gut instinct than actual knowledge
