Slightly related... who exactly decided that sun damaged skin was attractive? Back in the Roman empire, and even farther back, paleness was considered attractive (because it showed that you didn't have to toil and were probably rich). But now many people bend over backwards to put themselves at risk of skin cancer get a tan. I, personally, am not crazy for tans. A little, sure, but not toasted. Opinions?
