Florida always feels much hotter than it is because of the humidity....

The weirdest most complex and understanding of the vexed emotions I get from watching 5 Centimeters Per Second movie gets reapplied inside of me every time I experience it. After reading the manga, I came to love the movie beyond any words I could put here or there. Not only that, rather all my questions and confusions were cleared up in the manga.

I watched the movie on my lunches, I slept through most, or just listened to the background clip of the movie - 5cm. This is just through my work time, excluding my free time.

If he really wanted to talk to her that badly, there are so many things he could've done - he knew her address, so rather than constantly writing emails to her then never sending them because he didn't have her email address, maybe just write her a letter? Perhaps even ask for her email in this letter, so then he could email her as well? But no, instead he decides to just waste a few years wallowing in despair and loneliness without doing anything proactive whatsoever.

It's a really great film, but his attitude does ruin it somewhat.

I respect your opinion. I've seen a lot of strange and weird posts myself in this thread. Then again, this thread allows you to talk about anything and everything.

It is yet its not. If you haven't seen it then I suggest to watch it and read the manga.

Read the manga. You are way off and definitely didn't grasp what exactly happened. I had similar thoughts, too. We have it on BBT.

You can also order the two mangas from amazon.co.jp - There is also 3 light novels (I don't know how good they are). The manga will indefinitely give you a better understanding and answer all the questions and confusion revolved around 5cm. I disliked the lead heroine because of certain events, I also disliked the main character, but after reading the manga I came to love both characters, and I have a lot of respect to Sumia more than before.
