I've always been more of an English/History person than a mathematician (not that I'm bad at maths, I just prefer languages and history), but at one point I considered going for a physics degree because I really enjoyed taking it in high school. I found myself looking forward to the class every week, and I was disappointed on the days I didn't have physics.
And like gits mentioned, hands-on experiments are always a plus (even if you get a crazy error percentage lol). I think earning a physics degree is quite cool, so keep on it, gits :>
