Got a question: How come that in anime they talk about cousins dating like it's natural? I've seen it in multiple anime, for example Sankarea. Seems so weird to me.

There IS a small chance of weak health, deformation, or mental underdevelopment, which increases the closer the parents are related. But not as a rule, no. Of course, it's wiser to not take the chance, which is why marriage between first cousins is very rare.
