Lol....
Medical calculations.
I was calculating diffrent stuff then the rest of the class today, and made it to the 9th calculation before I starteded Doing the same stuff the rest of the class was doing, some weere proud of making it to the 8th calculation.
I made 7 of those calculations in 2mins....
example of the stuff they were calculating:
Intake is 120mg. The strenght of the medicine is 60mg/ml.
A) do you give over or under 1ml? (over)
B) How many millilitres will you give? (2ml)
9 of these.
While I was calculating:
Intake is 8ml thrice a day for 7 days. The strenght of the medicine is 50mg/ml.
A) How much is the daily intake of the medicine in mg. (8ml • 50mg/ml = 1350mg)
B) how many days does a bottle last when the bottle can hold 60ml? (2 days with 12ml left over)
C) How many bottles do you need? (3 bottles)
This was the easiest I had...
Other stuff I had to calculate in short: 700mg : 80mg/ml | 7,5mg : 10mg/ml
Not so hard either, but easier to make mistakes with...
sorry for bad translation...
