Edit -- Shit ... just caught Bunny Drop manga on Amazon. And we're up to volume 9! Volume 10 releases next year in April and it's the last volume. Well ... might as well get few of these and begin reading them. I wonder what other good shit is out there.

Objectively, manuals sucks.
They input a human into the system where it's' not needed, losing efficiency and risking more errors.

Subjectively, I would never get an auto.

Unless you have reduction geared manual you will really wish you had that auto.

That said, most hate for autos comes from before the modern ones. Japanese autos were complete shit upto somewhere like 04 or so. European ones were complete shit till the nineties.
That's' one thing the americans did well from the beginning, even the old autos are passable.

Nah, it's more simple than that. I live in an area where a lot of people fix and modify their cars. Driving an auto in this local culture would be embarrassing. I bet I would lose respect of many people that know me.
