I assumed the Danish were quite good, being so far north and all. But this has been the most violent game I've ever seen - 6 fights in the first 10 minutes and they also injured the cardiff netminder so badly he had to come off. We're now 2-0 down as a result

Well, after the ridiculous first period (seriously, face-off was ~7:40, but by 8:30 it was still only 10 minutes into the game, because they wasted so much time fighting and getting stupid penalties), the ref finally gave someone a match penalty (for headbutting - I didn't even know that was a thing!) and things calmed down a lot, so it ended up being a fun game of hockey. Cardiff lost - barely - but I had a good night.

Though I now have a massive headache, thanks to the woman sat right behind me screaming abuse at the ref in a really loud, high-pitched voice, for the entire match ¬_¬
