So, haven't read the first page but I'm just guessing by the name this is for miscellaneous 'chit chat'. In that case I'm just gonna say, "how's it going?" and let you all know what the illustrious LillyTown is up to tonight.

It's about 7:40 here in the Danville, CA. I just ate and took my meds so now I'm startin' to feel like a normal person. It's pretty hot in my apartment as my A/C doesn't work right now and I have various electronics running 24/7. I'm opening some windows now but it won't help much.... it never does. Around 2 or 3AM it'll start to get ice-cold in here which will aid my insomnia.

The fresh air is nice and actually it's not so terrible in here, probably already dropped 1 or 2*. I'm looking over my list of anime trying to decide what to watch. It can be easy sometimes, when I get something new that I don't care about too much or when I decide to watch a bunch of different shows in succession like a Saturday morning block. Right now I feel like marathon-ing something, really spending some time with one show.

I've narrowed it down to Koihime Musou, Hellsing Ultimate, AIR and Saber Marionette J but still not easy. Koihime Musou is easy to watch, it's no contender for my favorite franchise so my perfectionist attitude won't get in the way of enjoying it. AIR seemed wonky the last two times I tried to watch it but I started again the other day and found myself on episode 5 before I knew it. Hellsing has been awesome and Rip Van Winkle has just been introduced, seems like a really cool character. Not my idea of super-cute loli and not especially unique but really cool. Alucard is ridiculously over-the-top cool! This is my first experience with the Hellsing franchise and the production quality is just amazing. Saber Marionette J is some vintage stuff, the quality is also great but the rip I have could be better. Good show but I tend to get bored of it a little before the episode is over. Lime is really cute though!

I'm submitting this now while I continue to think and play a few matches of Groove On Fight. If you see this, just cast your vote of what I should watch and I'll try to kill the series tonight!

No one else has commented so I guess I'm goin' with it... I'd say it's some of the most well-scripted and animated action anime I've seen. It does have it's quirks but they're not as obvious as a lot of shows. The big one in my mind is how they use Alucard's getting shot to hell for drama. Now, I don't know much about the franchise as a whole, I haven't seen the TV anime or read the manga but so far it seems like he gets blasted to hell and they try to make you think he just got owned. BUT WAIT... .he was just toying with the baddies. He proceeds to curbstomp them while transforming into some sort of crazy monster. In general though, it's very well written and they don't abuse cheap plot devices anywhere near as much as most mainstream shounen shows. Animation is awesome, sometimes the style is... not to my taste but it's always very professional and smoothly animated. I'll prolly be back on to reply to threads after an episode or two(50+ minute episodes!)

Just thought I'd pop in and say hey, Hellsing Ultimate is so fuckin' awesome! I'm on episode 5, 4 was great but the first 2 episodes were the best so far IMO. They were action packed without becoming stupid or ignoring the story. I mean almost non-stop action, no way you could find yourself bored partway through.

Also, is there a model kit thread or a Gundam-specific model kit thread? I just found my Wing Zero Custom PG model kit, unassembled thought I'd like to share some pics.

Let me know, I'm gonna get back into this Hellsing Ultimate! It's a fuckin' beastly, manly show for men! Men that like guns and boobs and other manly things! YeahhhhH!

........... Well, ....... I can't sleep. I got work in about 5 hours or 6 hours or whatever but then I hit one hell of a story in Amane's route and it was clearly her past. It was intense, gory and filled with mind-fuck-angst stuff. It took a painless ... 12+ hours of me just reading that shit. The writer must have enjoyed this. The twist ... made me speechless. Awesome, just ... awesome. I wonder what the other characters are like ...

The old one was better, this one is cuter, but previous did not want to chit chat.

Hm, now that I think about it. I haven't finished watching Hellsing Unlimited as well. Will fix that.
I think I will have to watch if from the beginning as I even forgot that I even started watching it......

Somebody's DDOSING it.

There's a guy that attacked the site last year, hacking peoples accounts and posting gore pics with malicious code embedded into the HTML that prompts users to type their password and username into a pop up. He also fucked around with the database, changing the name of most titles to "SSJ VS Xinil: An Epic Battle of History" or something along those lines, and made most shows episode counts 9000.

Kinda funny seeing as these same attacks happened last year, and he still managed to fuck with it in the exact same way as last time, despite supposed "improvements" to the sites security.
