I don't like how they compared this to the NSA spying on what people are doing. At least the torrent sites don't charge you or arrest you, they just ban you if you decide to act like a dick or decide not to seed. I don't see any problem in banning people from private torrent trackers if they aren't following the rules of those trackers.
What kind of info would they have on you?

And how do you get on this list?
“Everything from being a dick, being/acting suspicious, cheating/trading, letting someone else use their account, to staff running off with donation money could get a user on this database,”
Yeah some of these are pretty serious offenses, but because some people don't like the way they think you act they now have a full work up on your address your name what email's you may use what devices you may use. Hell what if they could get into your computer and access privet info i.e. bank statements, SS number, etc. They could essentially ruin, or just plain end your professional life and your real life no money, no identity, no job, nothing.
