I'll still suggest you mine, but I forget what they're called Audio Technica AD-700's I believe.
Relatively cheap, and quite good. Super comfy too.
Right now.. those would not be good to buy imo for the bang for the buck.
For some reason they are $150 atm but I am used to seeing them under $100.
"Audio Technica ATH-AD700, $85-$150. Great comfort and decent build quality. Weak bass though it has some impact, detailed mids"
But those are good headphones amazon link to them just a bit ugly imo haha
But seriously don't take my word for it... just look at the buying guide.
The price is dependent on where you live. Unfortunately lots of headphone companies don't ship to Canada, so unless you can find a specialty shop, or have a US mailing address you're fucked a lot of the time. You can find them on sale in other places online as well, I got mine for $ I think. I'm not sure, perhaps it was more.
They fit what I wanted, and why the hell do I care what they look like when I'm just sitting at my computer? There's no reason for me to carry these around on a day to day basis. They also are a lot more pink then then the picture makes them look.
The "weak bass" is a questionable comment. With even the most minor of EQ changes they hit harder than most headphones I've listened to, and the mids and highs are quite nice.
