I just got a nice 50" tv in my room on friday, and the screen went out today. It really pisses me off that I will have to go back to using a shitty tv. And I had bought an hdmi cable so I could hook it up to my computer and watch anime too. I am probably more angry than I should be since I have had it for less than a week and I got it for free, but I got a taste of the better things and I don't want to go back to watching anime the old boring way.

I think you have the right to be pretty angry. I have had the same big TV since 2007, and it is still going strong. I would be livid if I got a new TV then it broke in less than a week.

I need to get myself a new TV soon to go with the incoming PS4, though I don't really need to right away.
Not sure if waiting for Black Friday is the right way to go. $:-\$

I went to sleep at 4am today. Turned off my alarm at 8:30 am. Mom wakes me up at 10am asking me that " don't. You have school today? Are you late?"
I just answered her " I'm not late, classes start at 9:30am..."
Then mum says again "but clock is 10am, you're late."
Then I just go like "no I'm not late, my alarm should wake me up... Wait, 10am?? Shit..."

I think there may have been a gay asian kid on another forum I used that coincidentally went by the name metro and always used similar av/sig sets as well and that's why.

Remember: Nerd itself is a term for extremes. Someone that just casually watches Star Trek or plays video games every now and then (ergo does a few nerdy things) but not to any extremes is not a nerd.

i.e. as presented "nerd about sports (...)" refers to extremes and I stand by my statement as factual and accurate.

y'know....... Patents should be like $20 a pop, and just for the processing fees. I have so many amazing ideas that just gather dust because I don't have $10,000 to waste on every idea I have.

They should change how the entire system works. An inventor should be guaranteed a percentage of profit from any corporations that use their invention, as it pertains, but not be able to deny anyone permission.
