To my knowledge, there is relatively little evidences that red meat cause cancer in general as long as you also eat plenty of whole fruits, veggies and legumes. It's pretty well established that it lower cardiovascular health though. Your arteries don't like all this cholesterol and saturated fat.

Wait if it harms the production of cells than it's the opposite of cancer, so either apoptosis or necrosis. While I know what you intended to say, I#d argue that all that is acidy is much more likely to induce cancer than red meats, since acids cause inflammations of your mucous membranes, cause a heightened proliferation of cells, and thus reduces the chance of DNA repair in teh case of damaged DNA (which happens randomly quite often).

Anyway, that's only the cancer persepctive, and there are probably quite a few factors that I don't know about in red meat that might cause cancer too, but in general all that increases cell proliferation is bad. You should all stick to white meat and fish with veggies if you wanna live healthy.
Won't even argue, those words are coming from some so-called experts and my co-worker claims they're smarter than doctors. I can believe it to an extent but avoiding meat is one of the worst ideas anyone would come up with. You can live without it, but if that's the life you want to have then Power To You.

You CAN avoid meat completely under 2 circumstances, if you are vegetarian, you just need to consume eggs and fish (some milk too) as a vegan you need to consume fortified foods, although you need to take care whether it was fortified from an animal source or not (if you consider bacteria as animals, then tough luck).

Anyway, considering my lunch today was two greasy duck legs on red cabbage with dumplings, I won't ever be the correct person to tell people what to eat or not. To ease my mind, it had lots of garlic on it^^

Ever seen what is that the docs take out of the arteries when they do surgeries of the heart?

Because we can!

The World Health Association, the FDA and the American Dietary Association's position on vegetarianism is all that it improve hearth health (some of them add other potencial benefits) but that vegans should make sure to get b12 supplement or b12 fortified food in their diets as well as Vitamin D if they live in the north.

If you consider bacteria as animals, then you don't know much about biology. Bacteria are even further rom us than plants genetically.

There are people who still reject heliocentrism, so yeah, there's that.

Everything causes cancer. We live on a rock that continuously releases radioactive radon gas. What is interesting is knowing what exactly gives us cancer within our very short lifespan.

I recommend people to pay more attention to shitty additives in meat or pesticides used on plants rather than argue about the food itself that humanity has been feeding on for thousands of years without dooming itself.

There are very few things that we are eating right now that we have eaten for thousands of years and even if we had, it wouldn't guarantie that it's healthy since we haven't lived to be 82 years for thousands of years either.

So with an increased longevity we still are so greedy that we are so picky?

It seems my method works:
1. eat everything, but in moderation.
2. do physical activity.
3. don't over-sanitize your habitat. (No that does not excuse you from cleaning your house, just don't sterilize it.) You need bacteria to keep attacking you so your immunity system stays strong.

I also recommend outdoor activity. I noticed that the first good frost is actually good for my face, better killer of pimples than any chemical shit people rub on themselves. Then again a summer wind out on a lake or sea is just as good.

Basically live a balanced life, relax and enjoy it instead of worrying about every small thing that the sensationalist news warn you against.

We could probably avoid the majority of health issues if we didn't eat foods covered in pesticides that can't be washed off and eat foods with crap in it that causes them.

We would also avoid the majority of health issues if people just stopped shoving mass quantity of food in their gaping maw. Obese people attract illnesses and conditions like shit attracts flies.

Tonight I partied as hard as one possibly can without the aid of alcohol.

Or hashish, the seemingly most popular drug in my town after alcohol. Partially because the government made tobacco so expensive, that most teens rather save the trouble and buy some cannabis instead.

I'm not aware of any peer reviewed meta-study blaming pesticide as the prime cause of common deseases.

No. I love my current ava/sig.

What feels ... weird is my desire to impregnate a woman. I think it is normal for my age. Probably ... ?
