It's still Tuesday with scorching hot sun.
That means there is a thunderstorm incoming.

We or rather I don't use Air-conditioner. It's a freaking power hog and power is somewhat expensive. Also I don't like Air-Con. Fans are better. I also happen to be a fan of fans.

And I was right about the weather too. It's getting darker from the clouds.

It's totally worth the cost. Once you use it, you'll never go back! ;D Fans are noisy and take up lota' space.

You are. There winds are picking up here at river valley. Not sure bout you though.

It started raining. I hate it when it rains. I don't like my shoes getting wet. I could make a biological weapon out of those unintentionally.

The reason I don't like Air-cons is because of what they do to my nose. And also I prefer fresh air. There is literally a park right in front of my house, like 50m away. I can even hear people doing those morning exercises(One-Two One-Two) at 6am from my bed.

Yup the wind is howling here. You win! ;D
Dubai's already making them then

I can think of two reasons:
(i) Your filter is super dirty.
(ii) Your nose is just super sensitive. To that, I say get a unit with a HEPA filter. ;D There's a Air-con unit for anything!

You mean the other Air-cons have dirty filters? Well, some of them are dirty.
Besides I don't need them. I use my fan to create the same cooling effect that the Air-con does. It is not as noisy as outside traffic though. Also I can't stand complete silence anyway.

There's no way I could stand just a fan, regardless of how many I had. Airflow on you feels nice but blowing hot air on yourself is still blowing hot air on yourself. And fans give me a bunch of drainage if I sleep with them on me.

I looked it up and the record high for Singapore is like 96.8°F (36°C), average high is like 87°F (30°C). Where I live it's gotten up to 120°F (48.8°C) and it's pretty common to be around 109°F (42.7°C) or so for most of the summer. Those extra 22°F (12.7°C) make a world of difference.

Some summers I've had my AC as low as it could go and had fans on me it was so freakin' hot.

Well duh. The filters get dirty with dust. (No wonder you don't like to use them, your's are probably caked in dust)

Yeah, the hottest Singapore has ever been isn't as bad as some other countries in Summer. The thing is, it's constantly around 36°C every day. And the hottest its been is actually 97°F (record broken this April)

Don't forget the humidity. It's not the temperature that is bad. It's the combination of the high temperature and high humidity that makes it hot here. You can sweat to cool off to a certain extent but your sweat will take forever in the weather to dry off. Given the high specific temperature of water, you will take an even longer time for it to cool off. So you remain hot for very long time, Air-con or no.

Yea, I can't stand warm or hot weather. I like cool and cold rooms. My favorite room in my workplace is the server room. That thing has one of the biggest holes in the ceiling that blows high amounts of cold air to cool the room. It was like 60Cish when I was in the room. I said to my boss "yo, can I live in this room?". Haha.

I would rather be in the heat than in the cold <---- reason why krbee lives in Texas.

With that being said...I am cold now. :( <---- complains of being cold when it's anywhere below 70s

Prefer air con to fans. And central Air Conditioning even better. Though I am using fans now, I have never liked them. And well I lived most if my life in desert so I have gotten used to hot climate. I can't really stand anything below 10 deg Celsius for long.

^I don't like fans either. I'm usually not ever hot because during the summer heat, I'm always going out to places, and of course they have A/C on blast so it's super cold inside. When I go out into the hot sun it just feels so good.

I can't stand hot temperature myself. It is disgusting, I start to sweat all over, my clothes stick to me... eeew. Cold temperature is the way to go.
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?
