I got my braces off 2 weeks ago~ Also have a retainer atm.
had the braces for bit over a year~
They are still wondering what to do with my lower jaw~~ (I hope they are not gonna do a surgery (they are thinking about that...), most likely, they will just pull out one of my front teeth.)

after the start, not really, just makes chewing a bit more problematic and needs time to get used to speaking with them.

The retainer was far more annoying for the start, as the saliva just keeps oozing + you have to get used to speaking with it in your mouth. That was a pain in the ass.
But atleast, retainer doesn't cause any pain. The braces used to make my teeth hurt for 1-3 days after they constricted them + when I had the braces in my mouth, I got used to the taste of metal.
.....I don't think I've taken any pictures of my teeth..... (not gonna check)

At least you're not far off. Once I had to drop off my (10 year old) brother's lunch box off at his elementary school, and this lady kept asking me if I needed "help getting a late pass"/if she could help me "walk to class"-- hell, I wasn't even wearing the uniform ;_;

(although I did say to her, "Nah, I'm good, I'm just dropping off my bro's lunch on the way to college!" her face was priceless ahaha)

Reminds of the time when I had long hair and get mistaken for a woman several times.

I finally decide to write and practice for upcoming test and then bam! Blackout across the whole city. More than 2 hours have passed since. It's oleasent it though. Surrounded by hills sure has a nice effect in climate sometimes. Also my allowance is late since for some reason the stupid bank isn't processing it for past 48 hours. Gah that kinda pisses mr off.
