You did? I really liked it. Honestly man, I can tell, at least this is my own personal opinion - the anime is building up onto the characters and introducing them slowly. I can tell this is going to freaking explode. That scene with the "mother" showing and that big ass city, man I have so many stories inside my head. But something really big is going to happen, if anything, it might be very similar to Gurren Lagann and their three events. Event I should be in that academy and Event II will take place against her mother.

Urghhh!!!! I'm dying to see the next episode. My urge is killing me ... January can't be here fast enough for BD Volume 1 to come!

Oh I still liked the episode.  It was fun, but It wasn't quite on the epic level I was expecting though.  The show seemed to really build the dude up, and when the fight finally happens it just didn't quite feel as amazing as I was hoping.  I think I was just expecting something next level.  I guess I just need to keep reminding myself that limited budget and that we are only on episode 9 (like you say).

Episode 10 had new music! Awesome classic animation! Great start and ending and funny shit all around! Love the new outfit. And we get another awesome panty shot of Ryouko and her tightest form! Haha. Looking forward to episode 11.

recklessness levels need to reach new heights as so to keep it interesting.

it's a trope that I started calling the "Toppa Effect".

I really am expecting the usage of things like planets, galaxies and perhaps entire dimensions as throwing weapons on the final episodes.
