How do you know when you become an anime fanatic?

I haven't watched nearly enough...

FlyinPenguin:
Errr, it is tough to define. I don't think it has to do with quantity, but rather passion.

^ I keep watching, I stopped tracking down what anime to watch or what I've watched long ago. AniDB > Calendar is all I need.

Hmm. High forum posting count does not really mean "anime fanatic", but "Posts: 2504 (1.445 per day)" and being a BakaBT member for over five years doesn't really indicate you as a non-player   ;)

As the post of Zalis in that thread indicates, ep count is far from everything. I've done over half a thousand QC and edit sessions during the last few years, and gone over mountains of work and money to get some series fansubbed. Many other people do other things to make the community interesting to be in. So the way of being a fanatic isn't just a single trail   :D

Some people would label you one if you say that you've seen a single title not named Spirited Away.
I've been called one, and I've seen much less than most people here...

As for what other anime fans consider each other to be, I'd say if you've stopped watching regular movies or shows for your precious Japanese animation :)
