seeding help- wont go over 4 kb/s and keeps dieing down

I'm new here to this site, and I'm new with torrening so not quite sure what I' doing..
and i have a miserable ratio at the given moment, so trying to improve it.
but i don't seem to be able to get over 4kb/s upload, and even when i get to 4kb/s,  it dies down instantly.
I've read the FAQ and some forums, but to no avail as the issue at hand has not been solved...
may i have some assistance?

edit- I have 8mb down and 4mb up, it should be somewhat better right?

Try downgrading your torrent client The latest versions of uTorrent (v.3+) have atrocious seeding performance .

well at the given moment i use bittorrent 7.8 (29626 build), is their a different version i should use?

I am in the same predicament. I am cannot get my two torrents two seed over a few kilobytes. They are  [OZC]Outlaw Star Remastered Complete Series & Rahxephon [HQA-ANBU&AonE]. I have switched clients from transmission to qBittorent and then Deluge. Downloaded and re-downloaded multiple times. My stats are now messed up because of this. I have tried everything and have screwed with the setting for at least an hour, anybody have any ideas?

well for what i read, its usually the content being seeded that affects the upload rate.
but for what i understand it could also be the internet connection, though i cannot find anything to solve that, as it might be my isp or something involving firewalls...

Rahxephon [HQA-ANBU&AonE] - You will not get much seeding on this torrent in any case. It is mostly for those who prefer fansubs over R1 subs.

With an average 23 seeders per leecher it takes more than a handful of torrents to get somehow decent upload speeds.

Do not aim for the most popular torrents - there is too much competition with seedboxes over them.
E.g. I managed to seed the old rip of Armor Hunter Mellowlink to the ratio of 0.75+ in uTorrent v3.2.3 in less than two days, and it is FAR from being the most popular mecha title. However, don't use it to fix you ratio: it is going to be replaced with a better rip in the nearest future.

well i can see that i am seeding someone, so its not the torrent itself.
i have a handfull of torrents and i can see their are some potential peers...
but that doesn't seem to help because i still cant get my upload up to a reasonable level (it still staying around a mere few kb/s)

Oh my god thank you.I was seeding for 3 days non stop and i couldnt get more than 29mb.At the moment i changed to utorrent (2.2.1)And i uploaded over 30 mb in under 10 minutes

Yeah, it seems that the official client ("BitTorrent") and uTorrent, sharing the same backing company, now also share similar dysfunction.  Ah, c'est la vie, c'est l'amour, c'est la guerre  .  Alas, uTorrent, we knew thee well.  I will miss it, once I get tired of 2.2.1 anyhow.

Azureus/Vuze is a quite capable alternative to uTorrent, and arguably more powerful, at least once the Mainline-DHT plugin is installed*, but I like uTorrent 2.2.1's (and earlier) far cleaner interface.  Oh well.

* Edit -> Azureus/Vuze is also quite possibly the best client I have seen, when it comes to navigating difficult NAT and ISP issues.
