Yeah, it seems that the official client ("BitTorrent") and uTorrent, sharing the same backing company, now also share similar dysfunction. Ah, c'est la vie, c'est l'amour, c'est la guerre

. Alas, uTorrent, we knew thee well. I will miss it, once I get tired of 2.2.1 anyhow.
Azureus/Vuze is a quite capable alternative to uTorrent, and arguably more powerful, at least once the
Mainline-DHT plugin is installed*, but I like uTorrent 2.2.1's (and earlier) far cleaner interface. Oh well.

* Edit -> Azureus/Vuze is also quite possibly the best client I have seen, when it comes to navigating difficult NAT and ISP issues.
