Problem Seeding
(1/1)
Neohuman:
So I think I may have screwed myself over earlier by redownloading some torrent after they wouldn't seed originally. Now I am seeding the completed torrents but I get no peers so my ratio is shot. I am going to be warned soon. I have switched torrent clients from transmission to qBittorent to finally Deluge. I set my ratio 1:1 and constantly have updated the tracker. They still won't seed. I would really rather not get banned over this. Any ideas? EDIT: I just deleted both by accident. I will try another torrent. Am now downloading [OZC]Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 1080p & [OZC]Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion.

This isn't like a normal 'torrent' site, where you have 100's or 1000's of people doing a torrent all at once... this is a "library" site, that is -- over the long haul, much more quiet. As a result, you usually have to get many torrents (think a few score or more) before you start getting regular downloads.
Also, it may be slower, but 1) look for freeleech torrents -- usually larger ones -- for video @ 1080p. or small < 100MB torrents ... (they will say freeleach on the download page). Those
won't count against your download. If you download all of those you can hold and then just
seed (and then go take a few month break in the bahamas or something...but leave your machine seeding!)... you'll find you start to get clients pulling things from you.
Also when you can, look for torrents that are bonus torrents -- on those, even if no one is downloading from you, you get a little credit just for carrying them. I forget exactly, but if you have enough of those d/l'ed to always get the full 10/hour credit (need maybe double that many to keep the credit most of the time -- as they stop being bonus torrents "randomly" (not really but as far as knowing when they will stop or start being bonus torrents, effectively, yes). Anyway, at 10pts/hour... 1600 points in 160 hours ~ 1 week, 10GB/week-> ~ 17K/s.
But if you expect to get seeding with 1 series... not real likely (statistically)....

Thank you for the clarification
