Russia says Obama hurting himself by canceling summit over Snowden

Burkingam:
Wow, it means it really is Obama personally going full retard and not some incompetent underlings. Why the fuck is he doing that? Does he want his party to lose next elections or what? Doesn't he realize that Snowdon is seen as a hero by the population?

Well if anyone ought to know, it should be you. He comes from planet Burk. Maybe he thinks he's a Dragon Rider of Berk Burk

That or he thinks Moscow is a suburb of Chicago, and he can Chi-town style hardball politics with them; by withhpolding foreign aid or something.

Because that's when the PRISM program was started. Give credit to who it's due.

Of course, Obama isn't really doing much to make himself look any better, given that he's perfectly fine with it, and even justifies going further. I don't know why he's doing that, but he probably figures he hasn't got anything to lose now that he has gotten himself firmly into his luxurious seat in the White House again.

And as said by others, it's not exactly anything new. The US Government loves this stuff so much, it's become an addiction.

@Jaybug: I would go way back right before Reagan.

If you really want to do more good than harm, go back to before J. Edgar Hoover became the first FBI director.

Without the Afgan wars, there won't be an Al-Qaeda. And the Soviet is probably going to be the target of the terrorism if there is one. And there's lots of bonuses from it, No Hungry Capitalist. No Global Warming. No Corporate Lobbyist. No Microsoft. No Apple. No Google. ETC ;D
