That's not going to happen and we all know it. Who's going to pass a UN resolution against the US for it, when the US can veto it all they want. The german economy needs the US market for selling products on that superficial made in germany myth that still holds, thus we decided to ignore most of the issue that we are on the same espionage level as china for the US (heck why not start another world war and get a few territories back that till today are mostly german culture wise  ::) ) As long as we have an instable middle east, that can serve as a virtual enemy, the US has an excuse for everything they do.

If we had enough international pressure and no support back home from the people then there's no way our politicians would be able to not do something. It'd force their hand. That's why they hate the leaks... once the American people become outraged over something they don't have many options other than looking at it because it becomes political suicide not to.
