This doesn't offend me as much since it's data that you are releasing publicly from your own accord. Analyzing publicly available information on the Internet can certainly not be compared to spying on your phone conversations.

I'm happy about that. The only thing is that it seems like it isn't really for home PC's but rather mobile devices.

It also seems like it will be mostly useless unless a large majority of the population buys one - and even then, not very fast compared to a standard internet connection.
