Did anyone really expect the White House to just give NSA a call and tell them to stop? The NSA collects dirt. You don't fuck with people that collects dirt. Why do you think J. Edgar Hoover was in office for so long?

It's supposed to collect dirt of foreign sources, not Americans, that's what the FBI is for. BUt yeah, the FBI is supposed to do things that will stand up in a court of law, which isn't what the NSA does. No, you use that dirt to fill out your hit lists. Make people disappear.

And the meeting between Obama and the tech giants was turned into a PR ploy for Obamacare, when the techies showed up to talk about the undue surveillance. A good ol' fuck you I'm the president, you'll keep supporting me in my agenda or we will make you sorry you were ever born!
