Increasing D:U Ratio

Hi! I'm new to bakabt and I just downloaded 2 movies, End of Evangelion and Death & Rebirth. Now, I'm ready to seed but I think there are no peers so I can't seed.

What are the other ways I can increase my "uploaded" to increase my ratio?

Get more torrents to seed, preferably those that don't decrease your ratio (aka freeleech).

From what I understand, I have to decrease my download speed and download one at a time so that I can somehow "maximize" my seeding?

Al_Sleeper:
Not necessary. Those measures mostly prevent you from going on a downloading spree, which can ruin your ratio.
However, it is recommended to limit your download speed to ~80% of your maximum connection capacity because its saturation will preclude you from seeding effectively.
