Hey guys, I'm a new user on this website and I have 3 problems I need help with. I've been using torrents for a while but never quite understood them. All I knew is that leeching means downloading the files and seeding is helping other people download (and naturally, being the selfish person I am, I stopped all torrents after the download completed because I thought it would hurt my internet speed too much). By looking in the "trackers" section of my old torrents, as well as some ones I'm currently downloading, I found the bakabt website (I have no idea what trackers actually are...). So, I have 3 questions to ask about how to solve my torrenting problems, not about torrents and how they work (although some background info would be helpful too, in simple to understand newbie terms please

)
1. My current download is not working, [OZC] Ghost in the shell 2nd GIG (not its exact name) -- I've looked up the "unregistered torrent pass" error and it tells me to redownload the torrent, so I logged in to this new account and redownloaded the torrent from isohunt and it is still not downloading but still shows upload speed. What do I do to solve this? When I redownload it and start the download again, it asks me to load the old trackers and I say yes.
2. I'd like to seed a previous torrent by [OZC], specifically the first season of GITS, but I get the same error -- "unregistered torrent pass". will it affect my seeding in any way or do I need to try to redownload the torrent?
3. About the ratios themselves -- is it based off of my ratio using bakabt, or my ratio from anywhere? Is it saved on the internet before I even register an account at a specific website or does it only start counting now that I use an account? Also, do i need to log into the website every time I want to download or seed something or does it recognize my IP immediately?
I am currently using utorrent.
Thanks for taking your time to read the (probably) silly questions of a newbie, but I really don't know anything about this stuff >< all help is appreciated! thank you!
