Recommendations for new anime
« on: June 12, 2013, 05:45:01 PM »
Hi!

I am looking for some new anime to watch, but I only like a specific type, which I can't seem to find many more of, maybe people in here can help me?

I am looking for some comedy/romance/harem where it just all seems like a joke. I don't think I can explain exactly, but I can explain in what anime I have watched and which I really do like:

Rosario Vampire
Yamada's first time (enjoyed but not gonna watch it twice)
Cat planet cuties
Destiny of the shrine maiden
Heaven's lost property (both seasons)
High school of the dead
Sekirei

I know they are all funimation, at least in English, but I can't seem to remember anything else.
So a bit ecchi but still being fun about it. And I rather not watch old (80-) anime but if the story is good then it won't be too big of a deal breaker.
I also like English dubs, if they are good dubs, else Japanese is fine with subs.

I can recommend some more harem-ish shows.
Ai Yori Aoshi
Hanaukyou Maid Team: La Verite
Mahoromatic
Samurai Girls
Tenchi Muyo
To Love Ru
Vandread (only kinda haremish but it does have humor, fan service, and a good plot)
