Stats completely out of proportions...

Here's an example of a tracker with three peers:
Peer 1 has downloaded 5 GB and uploaded 8 GB
Peer 2 has downloaded 10 GB and uploaded 3 GB
Peer 3 has downloaded 6 GB and uploaded 10 GB

As you can see, the global ratio is 1, as the total amount uploaded and the total amount downloaded are the same (21 GB).
However, the average ratio is ~1.19, as (8/5+3/10+10/6)/3 ≈ 1.19.
