Search Anime/OVAs by year

I really love the small, often obscure OVAs from the 1990s... is there a way to restrict the search by year?

Currently, no.

However, you can search on AniDB for OVAs and sort that list by air date, like so, and then see if the one(s) you want to watch are on subbed and/or on BakaBT.
