Should I just start over using an older client so I can use the FAQ re-seed instructions?

You shouldn't have to. The procedure is pretty much the same for every client. The only thing that really changes is where you can find the functions you need.

For the newer client, I had to create a save file of the torrent I was trying to seed. Is that required?

How I did it:
-clicked file, selected "create new torrent.."
-clicked "add directory"
-chose my torrent file and clicked "select folder"
-selected "start seeding" box and clicked "create and save as"
 
that put the torrent into the client and then I ran into the unregistered torrent issue with the tracker. I read "Check if the torrent has been swapped, replaced or removed. We occasionally prune old obsolete torrents or material that have become blacklisted. " from the wiki, and the torrent page on bakabt said it was swapped. So what do I do from there? Does it help to know that I have re-downloaded many of these I've tried to re-seed less than two days ago before I was warned?

Well, if you've been using just about any torrent client on the whitelist that I can think of, you actually do have a copy of every .torrent file you've ever downloaded (for uTorrent on Win7, "%appdata%\uTorrent" - w/o quotes - in the search box) ...

I'm sorry that my ignorance is making all of you upset, I never meant to do that! I'm still new to all of this and new to downloading things to watch. I don't know what some terms meant like what .torrent was or what a torrent page is. For someone who is completely new to torrent things and using a computer like this, I wish there were more specifics. Thanks for everyone who helped, but I'm just going to quit and delete my account. I give up because no matter how much I google everything to find out what it means, i just don't understand. Wish there was a dictionary on here.

If all fails, Jacque, contact PFCorner.
They have several ways (even for free) to work around the bittorrent-shit.

The bittorrent basics aren't difficult, but you have to understand them.
What is a torrent-file, what is the content, upload/seed, download/leech, and such.

With PFCorner you basically have to know only where to find the goodies (which you already have found: at BakaBT).,

First off, no one's upset, particularly, nor has anyone said anything in an angry tone.  Al_Sleeper was merely being a wiseass - lol.  Wiseass answers are common here.

Second, your questions will likely be well-answered by a careful reading of the Wiki, start to end, with some Google seasoning for any terms that are unfamiliar.

I plan on reading the whole thing actually, just so I have a solid understanding of how this whole process works. I will still go to other torrent sites now though, just because I won't be able to dig myself out of this one..

That's not true. Your warning will be removed in about a week because your ratio is >> 0.15.

Yeah you've already dug yourself out, to put it in your own words. But the warning just has a fixed timer that we don't touch.

You did it by being patient and keeping as many torrents as possible seeding for as long as possible.  That's exactly how you build and maintain a good ratio.
